
On December 17, Mr. Zhang Jun, Secretary General of the Boao Forum for Asia, moderated a symposium attended by media representatives in Beijing. Senior representatives of Xinhua News Agency, China Media Group, People's Daily, China Youth Daily, China Daily, Phoenix Satellite Television, Sina Finance, Tencent News and other media were present.
Secretary General Zhang Jun pointed out that the Boao Forum for Asia was jointly initiated by Asian leaders and has grown to be a high-end international platform in the Asia-Pacific region. As the world changes, the Boao Forum for Asia has recalibrated to focus on Asia with a global perspective and charting course for development through fostering cooperation. Motivated by its own driving force, the BFA shall strive for better Asia and the world. The BFA 2025 Annual Conference will focus on the changing world, highlight regional cooperation under profound changes, and a shared future. The BFA Annual Conference will bring together policy makers, business leaders and academia, to rekindle, recalibrate and rebuild trust and cooperation. There shall be plenty to expect, such as highlight moments and tangible results.
Secretary General Zhang also expressed gratitude for continuous support by the media and welcome media to participate, engage and interact. He wished all media’s efforts be rewarded with great news coverage and international friend circle. And he hopes that Asia’s voice be heard and global solutions be found.
